I wouldn’t go so far as to say amazing, but Trillian from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was at least enjoyable in the books. I don’t have anything against Zooey Deschanel, but she’s a pair of pants in that role.
THANK YOU! I’ve been saying this for years! She is by far the weakest part of an otherwise very entertaining movie and good adaptation. Her chemistry is off with pretty much everyone in the movie, and some of her line deliveries are just odd bordering on awful.
