You might recognize our next guest from the early-ish days of theCHIVE. Chivette Caitlin O’Connor revisits ‘Probably the Best Site in the World’ in this exclusive interview. Welcome back, Caitlin!
Zach: Today we’re joined by a very special guest. Caitlin O’Connor. Actress, model, multi-hyphenate, Chivette. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s been about 10 years since your first Chive appearance, right?
Caitlin: I can’t believe it. Yes, I think it was October of 2015.
Zach: That’s wild. What was different about theCHIVE back then that made you want to start creating content for the site?
Caitlin: I loved theCHIVE. I had heard of you guys before, then I got the email to shoot for you. I think my friend Arianny Celeste from the UFC had posed for you guys. But I saw her shoot and I saw a bunch of other Chivettes. So I just thought it was a great vibe, a cool website, and I love the comedy.
Zach: I don’t know if there were as many adult humor sites back then, but was there anything about theCHIVE that just kind of stood out?
Caitlin: I’m Irish and everything was green. I just feel like Saint Patrick’s Day is their whole vibe. So I was into it. And we love a good Bill Murray quote.
